Moving with pet

Importing your pet from West Malaysia to East Malaysia taking about a week to settle. There are alot of form and work to do before your pet is ready to be transported. So plan properly.

1. Health Check Certificate RM12 + Microchip Implant RM85 + Rabies Injection RM85 - health cert valid for 1 week - Total: RM152
2. Export / Import Permit from the state your pet bound to - 2,3 days process RM11.00
3. ROC form from Mas Cargo Agent - 2 days process
   You must provide pet's own kennel with sufficient drinking water and snacks. Kennel padding would be nice. They will charge you by your pet's weight + kennel weight & size RM 4.27/kg + other fees
Flight is available everyday, at 2pm. Be there 3 hours before the flight taking off.

Transporting Mr B_0_B

A few months back, i checked on which flight ould take pet boarding. It seems only Malaysia Airlines does. Basically, it would cost RM600+ to Kota Kinabalu. I don't know whether the Custom need to put him in kuarantine for a week or whether it would be totally unnecessary because it would be a local flight.

Mr Bob sobs...

Last weekend i was taken by surprise when Mr Bob squealed as i rubbed his head. He's hurt but where?!
So i slowly run my fingers on his head by the time my fingers touches the back of his right ear, he squeal again. That's it...i found the the hurt place. I checked for any cuts, bleeding, or swell but nothing! So what's the problem?

Boarding...Again

Yesterday our house cleaner found few ticks on the floor! It's no surprise, actually. Last year, the place was infested with ticks. It took us 1 week boarding and clearing up. Luckily, this time we noticed about it earlier. Hopefully Bob will come back home soon! Sob! Sob! Miss him so much!

Last week i found out that Frontliner Plus have come out with an edible tablet. So much like the monthly deworm tablet. I hope it will be available in JB soon.

Homemade Milk Bone Biscuits

3/4 cup hot water
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup powdered milk suitable for your pet
1 whole egg, beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour

In large mixing bowl, slowly pour hot water over butter. Once melted, stir in the milk and egg. Add flour spoon by spoon. Knead until it form still dough. Roll to the 1/2 inches thickness. Cut into bone shape. Bake 165℃ for 40 to 50 minutes. Let it cool inside the oven before taking it out. It will dry out quite hard. Keep in airtight container. Make 1/2 kg.

Crazy Day

Last night, Bobo took Cesar Chicken with Vegetable for dinner. He took it as usual. After cleaning up his meal, i went to attend to my baby daughter who was about to sleep. She was qlready sleepy during dinner and threw tantrum. I didn't finish my dinner, thank you very much.

At 10pm i went out from the room after make sure my baby fast asleep. The pungent smell from all over the place. I was so pissed off. Bobo peed at 3 spots my paper box, my washing machine and my kitchen table stand! Urgh!!!! Time for clean up!!!!

Lyme Disease is caused by a bacteria called Borrelia Burgdorferi transmitted to a pet or human from the bite of the ticks. In human, the disease can be treated with a few weeks of antibiotics. However in pets ie. dog, it is a little bit complicated. A serious infection actually need a pet to do blood transfusion and if fail to do this in time, the pet may die.

Lyme Disease can be prevented by occasional use of aeresol insect repellent, removing ticks promply, landscaping and pest management.

we are having a serious ticks infestation in the house recently and he was sent for treatment and boarding for almost a week! i really miss him!

frankly speaking, i am traumatized by the recent incident in our house. our walls was like one of the horror movie where all the creepy crawler just sit there waiting to attack the housewhole! am i being overreacting over the incident? i don't think so...especially when i have a 4 months old baby to take care of!...
do you know what kind of disease these flea can bring to your pets and us, human? beware...so being so-called overreacting about the whole incident, right after Bobo was given the medication on his skin to kill the rest of the baby fleas and the eggs, i put a flea collar on him...hehehe...i'm using Beaphar Flea and Tick Collar - Length: 65 cm. 65cm of length is really adjustable for his own comfort and the rest of the unwanted length can be cut out and keep it for other use. i don't throw away the excess as i can use it later on him if the flea comes back.

bobo finally get his life back

whenever i think of it, flea problem that infested our home last week still gives me the tremble. it was a hair-raising experience because i never have a dog as a pet before...

Bobo's flea problem

it has been 5 days since we start 'bombing' the whole house using flea smoke. we use
Zodiac Household Flea Spray 400ml to treat the whole house! The easy to apply aerosol contains no CFC’s. recall the very day i found large fleas on bobo, it was hair raising! i just can't believe i've killed 26 fleas! that haven't put into account my boyfriend found on his bed...20 fleas!
that very morning, we sent him for a wash and flea treatment and have his fur cut shorter. that day, Rain ( the girl that own the pet shop ) told me that i have to apply a med two days later to kill any flea and its eggs left on him after the treatment. for a few days, Bobo was very upset and feel blue. he have no mood to play or eat...it was sad days...
today, he finally have a little bit of mood to play. and the have his appetite back. today he finish 3 times of meal!
